Giants is a video installation. In the image two women wrestle with sky and sea in the background. The film speed is slightly slowed down.
Even in a society two certain dynamics of power become established. The landscape connects with the movement of the fighters and emphasises their relationship.
The images of Giants refer to battles in ancient Greek mythology. The use of such poetic reference and slow film speed creates a kind of distance between the image and the actual fight, to augment its potential meanings for the viewer.
